Setting It All Up

It was wonderful to be back at Adventist Hospital Santiago City, and also to see the major renovations of their operating theatres completed! The facilities are fantastic for the team to operate.

Today was spent setting up and going through supplies. The team is re-training their brains to the Filipino names for various supplies, and we’re trying to remember exactly what was in the shipping container and how we will put it all back together at the end.

The great news is that everything is ready to go. After 3 years of planning, Open Heart International tomorrow will complete its first Eye Surgery cases!
