Welcome to PNG

The traditional Welcome to PNG function was held on Saturday night at the Royal Papuan Yacht Club.

The function not only welcomes the team, but also bring together a number of local major financial supporters. The project is well and truly receiving local ownership, and this “private – public” partnership goes a long way towards the supporting the long term goal of an independent cardiac surgery unit in Port Moresby.

A highlight of the night was Anna being interviewed. Happy and healthy three years on, Anna’s aim is to be a doctor after she finishes school. We did a little feature video on Anna last year, which you can see by clicking here.
