Volunteer Administrative Assistant

Have you ever wanted to contribute to the work of Open Heart International but have no clue about the medical jargon, and scared of the sight of blood? Well you may be just the person we are looking for!

As Open Heart International continues to expand, we are looking to expand our office team. The right person will be able to commit to working in our Wahroonga office for half a day per week over the next three months, and with a view to possibly continuing on longer.

We are looking for someone with aworking knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), dependability, patience, problem-solving ability, an eye for detail as well as being thorough. You will assist in asmooth and ‘worry-free’ experience for each volunteer as they prepare for their deployment. You will significantly contribute to the overall volunteer experience which aids in retention of our volunteers.

We are open to whatever season of life you are in. Whether you have recently retired and looking to give back or someone needing some work experience for your CV, or needing some intern-style work for the course you are studying, we’d be interested in hearing from you.
