The educational opportunities take a variety of forms – with another valuable aspect of OOH being the expanded skills picked up by the volunteers. Jono (the guy MacGyver would call MacGyver) has an apprentice on this trip. Shirley (an accomplished bio-med engineer herself) seems to be enjoying the endless challenge of keeping all the OOH gear going. The variety of equipment, and the perfect environment that King Faisal Hospital offers those who love puzzles has kept both the master and the apprentice very busy. Tags: East Africa,
